The Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens Orchid Show
Enjoy a spectacular showcase of award-winning orchids from across the region from November 9 – 10.
What is the Orchid Show?
The Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens’ Orchid Show is a fantastic display of award-winning orchids from across the region. This beautiful event is brought to the Botanical Gardens every year by the Niagara Frontier Orchid Society.
During this event, you’ll even have the opportunity to meet with some expert orchidists to learn about the process of growing these beautiful, if finicky, flowers. At the end of your visit, you can take home an orchid of your own as well as potting supplies to allow it to continue to grow.

Tickets for the Orchid Show
The Orchid show will take place from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm on November 9 and 10. The cost of the show is included with admission to the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens.
Tickets for entry are as follows:
Adult: $16.50
Senior (62+): $15.00
Student (13+): $15.00
Child (3-12): $9.00
Children 2 years and under receive free admission
What is the Niagara Frontier Orchid Society
The Niagara Frontier Orchid Society (NFOS) is a collection of orchid enthusiasts who seek to promote the culture and enjoyment of orchids as well as impart knowledge of these flowers. They seek to work toward the protection of orchids and the conservation of their natural habitats.
Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, the NFOS maintains the Botanical Gardens’ orchid collection from 8:00 am to 10:00 am.
The NFOS hosts monthly programming, not limited to the Orchid Show, including guest speakers, slide presentations and other activities. Group meetings are held to further all members’ knowledge on orchid blooming, breeding and display. Members are encouraged to bring their orchids to meetings to share with their fellow members.
