After spending most of their lives helping their grandfathers make homemade wine, founders John Rubbo and Nick Califano decided to try their hand at the brewing process. From this summer adventure, The Yonkers Brewing Company was born! Established in 2013, The Yonkers Brewing Company is the ideal location to visit for craft beer lovers! This brewery is known for its rich, original drafts and many activities offered on-site.
Open seven days a week this brewery offers a variety of reasons to visit! One of their most popular features is the boozy weekend brunch special. This special includes bottomless mimosas and bloody marys for just $25! Other highlights of their brunch menu include items such as their Breakfast Burrito, Smoked Salmon Benedict, and Beyond Burger. This location also offers trivia night every Wednesday at 7:30 pm and a live music series on Saturday nights. With something always going on there, the Yonkers Brewing Company is certainly the spot to be!
Original Craft Beer
Despite their delicious meals and many events, the main attraction of this brewery is the original craft beer! Almost all of their draft selections are original to this brewery. The 914 Vienna Lager is the draft that launched the company, and one of their most popular options. They also offer original IPAs, pilsners, and even sour beers that are accredited for their full-bodied flavors. While visiting, it’s recommended to try a flight of their beers to get a full picture of what the brewery offers!
They also offer a rotating draft with other local beers from surrounding brewing companies. Canned options include ciders from both The Yonkers Brewing Company and other local venues, as well as traditional lagers such as Coors Light and Bud Light.
