Strathallan Hotel & Spa
At the site of one of East Avenue’s original grand Victorian Mansions, the Strathallan in Rochester, New York was converted to a 157-room hotel in 1979. After acquiring the mansions next door, Seven on Strahallan, was converted into additional suites in 2013. In 2015, the Strathallan Spa was opened.

The Char Steak & Lounge is the premier restaurant in the hotel, complete with new renovations and a new menu.
Ape + Canary Spa
This urban spa connected to the Strathallan Hotel, located just across the street, is a full-service spa with services including hair cuts and colors, nails, massages, esthetics, and so much more.
Ape + Canary follows MANTRA – Moderns, Androgynous, Non-Pretentious, TImeless, Respect, and Attention, in order to give the best possible service to all those who enter their doors.
Spa guests can arrive and hang out in The Sanctuary before their appointment, a large room with cozy couches, blankets, and pillows with light snacks, water, tea, and coffee. Spa guests can also enjoy complimentary beer and wine.
The spa offers a variety of packages or a la carte services. The Pamper Package includes a gel manicure, a pedicure, and a facial. The Restore Package includes a manicure, pedicure, and massage. The Escape Package includes a pedicure, facial, and massage. Teh Full Wellness Package provides an 80-minute facial, and an 80-minute massage, with 2 add-ons to your facial service and 1 upgrade to your massage. Traveling with someone special? Try the Two Peas Package for a 50-minute side-by-side massage and two 50-minute facials.
