All year round wake up to the salmon rosti or the cornflake crusted french toast, two of the house favorites. The Green Wood’s chic and leisurely atmosphere, accentuated by its white and pink tiles, bright, airy spaces, and live-plant walls, creates a culinary experience that goes beyond just taste.
As a small business, The Green Wood prides itself in its menu creation – every item is either made from scratch in-house (including all breads and sauces) or purchased from local and sustainable purveyors. Its innovative menu is crafted with care by Elisa Corrigan, an esteemed chef and owner of the ping pong bar (yep, you read that right!) on King St. West, a few steps down from The Green Wood’s new location. The Green Wood also serves vegetarian and vegan options upon request.
The Green Wood’s East location, located in Leslieville, serves brunch only on Monday and Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and brunch and dinner from Wednesday through Sunday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. The Green Wood East does not accept brunch reservations.
