History of Savona’s Trattoria
Serving customers for over 40 years, the Savona family has dedicated their lives to creating Italian dishes for all to enjoy! The majority of the original recipes come Emanuel Savona, who immigrated to the United States from Sicily over 50 years ago. Both Emanuel and his wife Cecilia opened their first restaurant in Kingston in 1972!
Currently, Stephen Savona, the son of Emanuel, continues the family legacy of running the restaurant!

You can expect to find a variety of appetizers, pizzas, burgers and house sandwiches for the lunch menu!
Classic Italian appetizers such as Arancine (rice balls), fried zucchini flowers, fried calamari, mozzarella caprese stack, and more! Additionally, order your favorite gourmet Italian dish such as Rigatoni Broccoli Rabe & Sausage, Veal Parmigiana, and other unique items on the menu!

Local musician Michael Dell performs every Sunday from 5:30-8:30 singing Italian music and American classics. Come and listen to great music while you enjoy your meal!

My wife & I had dinner here on a Tuesday night. The location is excellent, atmosphere charming and the food outstanding! Bread sticks before the meal were to die for! I had linguini and white clam sauce – al dente and with a baker’s dozen clams! My wife had the Waterfront Salad. Both dishes were outstanding!!! The service was friendly and prompt. We’d highly recommend this restaurant if you like authentic Italian food.
