Saratoga Performing Arts Center
Saratoga Performing Arts Center, or SPAC, is a performance venue in Saratoga Springs, New York. Located in the 2400-acre Saratoga Spa State Park, SPAC has. multiple outdoor stages and lawn areas and hosts a variety of music and dance festivals throughout the year, right in the midst of the natural beauty within Saratoga Springs.
SPAC includes multiple venues on its campus, the Amphitheater, the Spa Little Theater, the Charles R. Wood Discovery Stage, the Hall of Springs and the Jazz Bar, and the Julia Bonacio Family Pavilion and The Pines.
The Amphitheater has a capacity of 25,000 people with over 5,00 sheltered seats as well as a lawn for an additional 20,000 people. The Spa Little Theater is a 500-seat theater to showcases the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center as well as year-round programs in dance and music. The Charles R. Wood Discovery Stage is an open-air stage utilized mainly for the Freihofer’s Saratoga Jazz Festival and the Caffe Lena @ SPAC concert. The Pines features an indoor multi-purpose room and the Pines Terrace has a balcony with incredible views. The Julia Bonacio Family Pavilion is a great sport to set up have a quick bite and hang out before a performance. The Hall of Springs is a historic banquet venue overlooking the Reflecting Pool with the Jazz Bar inside which hosts an after-hours social scene with live jazz music.

Resident Artists
SPAC has a variety of artistic partners who perform shows throughout the year. The New York City Ballet is one of the top dance companies in the world. Since 1966, the Ballet has returned every summer to SPAC for a yearly summer residency. Enjoy shows including “Jewels” and “Swan Lake & Stars and Stripes.” This Philadelphia Orchestra also comes to SPAC every summer to the amphitheater that was specifically designed for this fantastic orchestra. The Tchaikovsky Spectacular is coming at the end of July featuring live canon fire and an incredible fireworks display. Finally, enjoy the sounds of the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center which has been a resident at SPAC since 2014 including a multi-generational, international roster of the world’s finest chamber musicians. There are players of every instrumentation, style, and historical period. Enjoy classical pieces at “Mozart, Mendelssohn, and Brahms,” and “Beethoven, Ravel, and Schumann.”
Beyond their yearly programming, there are many special events at SPAC. Some upcoming performances include John Fogerty, Hootie & The Blowfish, Lainey Wilson, Niall Horan, Brooks & Dunn, Tyler Childers, Dave Matthews Band, New York City Ballet, Third Eye Blind, Impractical Jokers, Train, The Philadelphia Orchestra, Harry Potter in Concert, John Legend, and so many more!
Also, the Saratoga Food and Wine Festival is coming back to SPAC for its 17th year. This Festival on September 8 and 9, will host a variety of wines, spirits, and exhibitors from across the United States as well as food from some of the Capital Region’s best. The festival also includes an Adirondack Road Tour and Luncheon featuring rare collectible cars, Fired UP! A grill-off competition featuring some of the top restaurants in the region – meaning you get to sample and judge for yourself – and a Grand Tasting & Concours D’Elegance centered around the top wines and spirits from the area, savor delicious food from the top 20 chefs in the region, and enjoy culinary demonstrations, a live auction and more.

SPAC School of the Arts
This is a multidisciplinary arts school founded in 2021 to ensure that students have the opportunity to experience the transformative powers of the arts. SPAC SOTA features classes for people of all ages – children, teens, and adults – so everyone can appreciate the arts, from dance to music to performing.
