Mélange is a beautiful and eccentric gift shop on Phoenicia’s Main Street. Throughout Mélange you will find antiques, pillows, linens, candles, ornaments, and locally made and vintage jewelry. The shop also carries a collection of natural products, such as bath and beauty items, remedies, spices salt lamps and more.
The Craftsmen of Mélange
Behind the artisan goods of Mélange are Kim and Doug Houska. Their artistic creations are the roots of the shop.
Doug, a local woodworker for 30 years, has an array of unique one of a kind tables, cabinets, shelves, lamps, candle holders, and wall hangings. New additions are fun kids puzzles and cars.
Kim, a local designer has worked in the area for 25 years, creating one of a kind clothing, hats, scarves and jewelry. New garments are displayed weekly, in between tailoring jobs. Additionally, the shop offers clothing from other local designers and vintage pieces.
Something for Kids
New to Mélange is a selection of locally designed childrens’ clothes. While you’re shopping for your kids, have them pick out something out from the store’s happy basket to take home with them.
