With Killington Resorts under new management, $30 million of investment is planned for the new year, starting with 1,000 new low-energy snow guns installed around the resort. In the summer of 2025, the Superstar Quad will be replaced with a new high-speed six-passenger chairlift and all 116 Skyeship Gondola cabins will be replaced. They will also be upgrading the Skyeship barn, where those new cabins will be stored. The summer facilities will also get an upgrade with expanded bike trails.
There are more than a dozen places to eat at Killington. Preston’s serves après and dinner with indoor and patio dining available during the summer months. During the winter Preston’s also offers breakfast daily and lunch on weekends. The menu is infused with Vermont ingredients and perfect pairings, from comfort food favorites to elevated entrées – and take-out is available.
You can also dine at the Peak Lodge, where the stunning views compete with the farm fresh food and drinks. This is also a popular wedding spot. Other options include a variety of food trucks, the Roaring Brook Umbrella Bar, the Jerk Jamaican Mountain Grill and the Waffle Cabin.
Killington offers special complimentary ‘Meet the Mountain Tours’ daily at 10:00 and 11:00 am. With nearly 2,000 acres to ski, Mountain Ambassadors will help guide visitors through an array of trails and will also familiarize them with the rest of the resort. This allows visitors to maximize their time and fun on the mountain.
Visitors can also enjoy a variety of snowmobile tours depending on their interests. The Mountain Tour lasts about one hour through various trails and woods. The Backcountry Tour lasts double the time, taking visitors on a 25-mile trip through the Calvin Coolidge State Forest. Killington has Kids’ Tours too, using child-sized snowmobiles in a guide-monitored setting.
The fun lasts the whole year at Killington, with many summer activities to enjoy. The bike park includes 30 miles of trails with varying difficulties for all skill levels. Killington also has a unique golf course on the mountain terrain open from May to October. Additionally, the Adventure Center will get your adrenaline pumping, with access to the Beast Mountain Coaster, Zip Line Racer, Skye Ropes Course, Trampoline Jump and more. Tickets are only required for riders. Some attractions are free, including our hiking trails, and wellness walking path. The Snowshed Food Court is open daily for delicious, fresh and local lunch options.

Skis, poles and snowboards must be in a bag or hard-side case. You can carry on your skis, snowboards, boots and ski poles if they weigh 50 pounds or less and are 72 inches or shorter. Otherwise, ski and snowboard gear must be checked.
