Jar’d Wine Pub
Looking for a refined and cozy setting to indulge in some wine? Look no further than Jar’d Wine Pub, tucked away in New Paltz’s Water Street Market, located near the end of Main Street.
Established in 2013, Jar’d menu is laden with loads of red and white wines, rose, cocktails, draught beer, non-alcoholic drinks and a careful selection of tapas, including soft pretzels and cheese plates.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, hours are varied and change as the pandemic continues. Their current hours can be found here. Regardless, they’re open seven days a week.
As with any renowned bar, drink specials are a staple here. From Happy Hour from 4 to 6 p.m. on weekdays (Monday through Friday), draught beer and wine is $1 off. If you work in the service industry, there’s a special just for you on Sundays, where you can get mimosas and draught beer are $5 from 12 p.m. to 12 a.m.
During the summer, Water Street Market hosts movie and music series, featuring classic films every Monday evening and live musicians every Tuesday evening from May through August. So feel free to take your drink outside and enjoy the entertainment!
Most Water Street Market locations are not allowing indoor dining. Feel free to grab a glass of wine and sit outside in the front of the pub or on the back porch with a view of the Shawangunk Ridge. If you’re interested in other New Paltz attractions, click here.
