Since opening in 2004, Iron Gate Cafe has been serving delicious breakfast, brunch and lunch on their charming garden patio and in their indoor dining rooms. The restaurant is connected to the historic Holroyd Mansion. At different points in its history, the building was a school, a private residence to an Albany industrialist and his family, a physician’s office and is now home to the Iron Gate Cafe. In addition to the unique architecture and history of the mansion, the restaurant’s dose of rock and roll style combines to create an eclectic feel!
Homemade and Family Owned
Stop in to Iron Gate Cafe to try their variety of homemade soups, salads, wraps and sandwiches, prepared with locally sourced ingredients. Some fan favorites include the Raspberry Brie French Toast, and The Iron Gate, consisting of poached eggs, applewood smoked ham and Pepper Jack hollandaise on an English muffin. The restaurant is open Wednesday to Monday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is closed on Tuesday. It can get busy, so consider adding your name to the waitlist before arriving.
