    What is there to do at Hunter Mountain?

    Skiing and snowboarding are only a few activities for guests to enjoy. The surrounding community of Hunter Mountain offers a variety of winter activities for the 65th year as perfect substitutes to skiing and snowboarding. Enjoy a scenic skyride on the state-of-the-art lift that takes you to the 3200 foot summit of Hunter Mountain’s skiable terrain. Test your mettle on the Mid-Mountain Tour on North America’s longest and highest zip-line open year round! There’s even snow tubing right at Hunter Mountain—perfect for the entire family! Various events located at the resort site are posted weekly online. Hunter Mountain offers ski and stay midweek packages! Also open all year is horseback riding at Bear Creek Landing with both English and Western riding.

    Where can I stay for an overnight excursion?

    After spending your day on the slopes, guests can enjoy après-ski at the Main Base Lodge and Van Winkle’s Restaurant, located at the on-site Kaatskill Mountain Club Hotel only steps away from the Base Lodge and the slopes. For your convenience, stay at the Liftside Village Condos for easy access to the slopes the following morning, as well as take advantage of lodging amenities including an outdoor heated swimming pool and hot tub, spa, fitness room, and full-service restaurant. There are also plenty of nearby hotels and bed and breakfasts to choose from if you are looking to adventure into the nearby towns.
