Head over to Giorgetti Park in Rutland, VT for a classic day of family fun! Giorgetti offers both indoor and outdoor programs and activities, all with the “small-town feel” that makes Vermont so famously unique.
Giorgetti Park includes the Giorgetti Athletic Complex, which provides both a turf for indoor athletics, open March-May, as well as an ice arena, also open March-May. The Giorgetti Complex is also the parking location, even if you plan to hit the trails at the 300-acre, 16-mile single-track trail system that constitutes the Pine Hill Park. There, you can hike, mountain-bike, ski, snowshoe, or just enjoy the lush natural scene for which Vermont is renowned. Admission is free, so bring the whole gang. Giorgetti’s Pine Hill Park is the perfect spot for a socially-distanced stroll through the songs of the many species of birds and the whistling of the diverse leaves inhabiting the area. You’ll also find fishing access at Pine Hill Park.
Giorgetti’s Flip Side Skate Park offers classes and clubs for skaters of all ages and skillsets.
When hosting events, Giorgetti Park often rents out equipment to guests for unanimously-reasonable prices. For those who live within the city boundaries of Rutland, scholarship applications are available and can be found on RutlandRec’s website.
