Shoot some hoops at the basketball court, take on a challenge at the handball courts, or cast a line at the fishing pier with its own cleaning table. Children can enjoy the Tot Lot Playground and the splash pad with a misting fountain.

    Gantry Plaza State Park is open to dogs but they must be monitored and on a leash. There are two designated dog run areas where dogs can be off leash located on the corner of 48th Ave and Vernon Blvd and on Center Blvd between 46th and 47th Avenues.

    What is Admission to Gantry Plaza State Park?

    Most New York State Parks charge a vehicle fee to enter a facility, but you may get lucky and snag a street spot nearby. 

    The Empire Pass card is $80 and includes unlimited day-use entry to most facilities operated by State Parks.

    Picnic fees at the park include a $30 picnic fee plus $65 if your party is 26 – 50 people and $115 for parties of 51 – 100 people.
