Born in 2018, Eastwind Hotel & Bar boasts sweeping views of Windham Mountain in the Catskills with a unique Scandinavian home away from home getaway experience.
Room Offerings
The Eastwind offers a selection of seven room types, including ADA accessible rooms. The most popular rooms among visitors are the Lushna, King, and Writer’s Studio.
The Lushna is the Eastwind’s Scandinavian notion of camping without sacrificing comforts. Each Lushna cabin is simple in aesthetic and offers a comfortable stay all year round with queen beds.
The King room is planked with reclaimed wood with a muted color palette and pops of navy, black and white. The King rooms invoke Scandinavian design energized by the hotel’s backcountry.
Each Writer’s Studio is located in the Bunk House and comes with your own writer’s desk and typewriter. 270 degree views over the mountains and an abundance of natural light make it the perfect space to unwind.
Food and Drink
The Eastwind’s bar is open Friday through Sunday, 5:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M. and offers seasonal cocktails, beer, wine, and bar food. On Saturdays the hotel welcomes guests to join a communal Supper, starting at 7:30 P.M. with RSVP required.
The hotel offers a breakfast buffet on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:30 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. and includes homemade German pancakes, granola, charcuterie and cheese boards, seasonal fresh fruits, coffee, tea and more.
