The Catskill Mountain Railroad is a scenic passenger train that travels through the Catskill Mountains. The train begins at Kingston, New York, and travels through old farmlands within the Hudson Valley and over the Esopus Creek on the C9 Bridge, through the Jurley flats and over the Hurley Mountains.
The CMRR is a community service organization dedicated to preserving the history of the former Ulster and Delaware Railroad. All profits made by the CMRR are reinvested into the preservation of the railroad corridor.
All trips on the CMRR are roundtrip and depart from Westbrook Lane in Kingston, travel up Hurley Mountain and return back down.
Beyond enjoying the scenery, the Catskill Mountain Railroad features several events throughout the year.
