The Rochester Americans are the fourth-oldest franchise in the AHL, recently celebrating their 60th anniversary during the 2015-2016 season. The Blue Cross Arena at the War Memorial, in addition to hosting “Amerks” games, is home to the Rochester Razorbacks of the Premier Basketball League, and the Rochester Knighthawks of the National Lacrosse League. The BCA also presents world class artists such as Phish, Lil Wayne, and R. Kelly, as well as professional wrestling events.
