Serene and scenic, trek nine miles of trails and enjoy over 400 annual programs, exploring a rich mix of habitats with more than 200 species of birds and over 800 varieties of plants.
Beaver Lake features winding trails that are designed to be enjoyed in all seasons. The 200 acre glacial lake is a migratory stop for thousands of Canada geese that migrate through, as well as an opportunity for summertime exploration by canoe. Walking paths, ski trails and canoe routes all lead visitors to encounters with nature. Too often life’s challenges separate each of us from our natural roots. Beaver Lake provides an opportunity to bridge that gap. It’s a place where everyone can hone their appreciation and understand the natural world.
Rule for Beaver Lake Nature Center
Beaver Lake Nature Center’s trails are hiking trails designed for nature study and observation. Pets, biking, collecting and fires (including bbq and gas grills) are NOT permitted at park grounds. Please be mindful of others and of wildlife. Always yield to the nature observer.
