The Art Gallery of Ontario is home to over 95,000 pieces of stunning contemporary art. The pieces within the gallery range a variety of topics. These include Paul Rubens’s: The Massacre of the Innocents, as well as work from all over the world and even some emerging indigenous Canadian artists.

Each year there are a ton of different exhibitions for all kinds of art lovers. One of the top attractions this year include Photography, 1920-1940: Women in Focus. This gallery focuses on an era of women’s right where change occurred both politically and socially. The gallery spotlights this radical period for women in America and Europe. Other top attractions throughout the year include Vija Celmins: To Fix the Image in Memory and early pieces from the artist Peter Rubens.
Education at the Art Gallery of Ontario
The Gallery does much a lot to educate others as well! They offer affordable adult courses and single day workshops. In addition, courses are available for children year-round with an emphasis on the camp they put on each summer.
