Anthony’s Restaurant & Bistro
Set within a remodeled nineteenth-century farmhouse Anthony’s Restaurant & Bistro has been open in Plattsburgh, New York since 1980. Scott Murray, executive chef and owner set out to offer contemporary, European-American cuisine in an atmosphere of warm, country elegance. With three different dining areas and two menus, the Bistro and Dining Room menu, Anthony’s has something for everyone.
Dining Areas at Anthony’s
The Dining Room offers an intimate, white-tablecloth setting with a sophisticated, refined atmosphere. The Bistro, the more casual atmosphere has a pub-like feel to it, with a bar and live piano music on Friday and Saturday evenings. The Gold Roof is perfect for small groups and semi-private events.

Executive Chef, Scott Murray has spent thirty years developing the perfect cuisine for Anthony’s Restaurant & Bistro. They source local and regional ingredients whenever possible and partner with a variety of farms and producers within the area. Additionally, Anthony’s has its own garden supplying it with a variety of fruits, vegetables, and herbs.
This European-inspired American cuisine creates dishes with contemporary flavors and a rustic presentation, offering you the best of both worlds. They make their own stocks, produce their own smoked items and charcuterie, hand-cut all steaks and fresh seafood, and even create all the unique desserts on the menu – including a variety of fresh ice cream flavors.
The dinner menu includes Surf & Turf of Petit Filet Mignong & herb Butter Roasted Shrimp, or Cold Water Lobster Tail, a Bacon Wrapped Pork Loin with Chorizo Sausage and Apples, and a Sauteed Jumbo Shrimp & Sea Scallop Risotto.
