As the only professional symphony orchestra based within the Capital Region, the Albany Symphony enriches a broad and diverse regional community, engaging over 150,000 people each year across an extended geographical area.

2019-20 Season
A new season featuring women in music, encounters with thrilling new music, and masterworks that have withstood the test of time.
Highlights include: Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition, Rachmaninoff’s Symphony No. 2, Mozart’s “Linz” Symphony, and Beethoven’s Eighth, plus the Albany Symphony’s exciting reveal of new American classics and a weekend-long festival celebrating the creative genius of Clara Schumann. Student Access
Students can purchase $15.00 rush tickets for select concerts up to 3 days before the concert in person, online or by calling the box office. Student Rush tickets are available on a first come, first serve basis and subject to availability.
