Warwick AppleFest
Apple pie contests, cider tastings and apple picking to celebrate autumn’s sweet fruit. Enjoy the annual Warwick Applefest!
Current Status: Cancelled for 2020
Come to the annual Warwick AppleFest on October 6 to get into the autumn spirit! The largest festival in Orange County is celebrating its 31st year! Named one of the “Top 100 Events” in the country, people from all over the country travel to the Hudson Valley to experience this huge, annual fundraiser.
The festival will include live music from different genres such as rock, folk, pop and Broadway, as well as various stations for both kids and adults!
Apple Pie Contests
Come check out both the Apple Pie Baking Contest and the Apple Pie Eating Contest, where people of all ages can face each other in a super sweet contest.
For the pie baking contest, there will be two divisions that people can enter into: the Junior division from ages 7-16 and the adult division, ages 17 and up. All pies must be homemade and only use apples and no other fruit. For more information on the contest, go to the contest rules on the website!
All donations for both contests will go towards the Warwick Ecumenical Food Pantry.
This rain or shine family-friendly event also has vendors selling all kinds of crafts, jewelry, furniture, and food, all locally from different parts of the Hudson Valley. All the festival proceeds will go to the Warwick Valley Chamber and other non-profit organizations. Come for this autumn-filled event on October 4!
