The Festival of Trees
Come vote for your favorite Christmas tree at the Schenectady County Historical Society.
A collaboration between the Schenectady County Historical Society and the YWCA, the Festival of Trees is a beloved annual tradition in Schenectady and the rest of the Capital Region. Each year, community members set up more than 100 artistically-decorated fir trees at both locations. Local artists, businesses, and non-profits have come together to turn the galleries into a winter wonderland. Stop by and be sure to enjoy some holiday magic and be sure to vote for your top choices in eight categories, including Cutest, Most Glamorous, and Most Creative!
The Festival will take place through December 21, 2023. Tickets cost $6 for anyone above the age of 12, and can be purchased here or directly at the Schenectady County Historical Society.
