Schenectady Pride

Celebrate Pride and support the LGBTQ+ community in Schenectady for a Day of Visibility.

Come one, come all! June is pride month, meaning that several locations from all over the world are celebrating and supporting the LGBTQ+ community. The city of Schenectady is no stranger to Pride parades and events and will be hosting Pride the first weekend of June in 2022. 

Attending the event

Everyone is welcome at Pride in Schenectady as the event serves as a Day of Visibility. Whether you’re a member of the LGBTQ+ community or an ally, visiting Schenectady’s Pride is the perfect way to receive and show support. The event takes place on Saturday, June 4th, and runs from 2:30 to 6 p.m. Make sure to wear a face mask and practice social distancing to benefit the safety of yourself and others, unless told otherwise by the event organizers.

There are three fun attractions within the event. Cici Larue will be hosting the event, and RVMBA and The Wreckless Duo will be performing live.

Take Amtrak to Pride

Attend Pride via Amtrak to the Schenectady Station—Don’t forget to use the Amtrak See New York and Save 15% discount! The station is 0.3 miles away and is within walking distance from Gateway Plaza, making it an easy and convenient option to get to the event.
