What is Orchids After Dark?
This glowing event allows you to view the beautiful orchid exhibit at the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens after the sun has set.
What to Expect at Orchids After Dark
Hundreds of twinkling lights are set up through the twelve greenhouses of the gardens and guide you through the enchanting display of orchids. The flowers, already beautiful on their own, will be cast in glowing light and colors, forming shapes and shadows.
Take in the beautiful – if not romantic – garden specially on Love is Love Night. A special version of the event for Valentine’s Day celebrating the region’s LGBTQ+ community on February 12, 2025. Buffalo’s most popular drag queens will be in attendance for performances at 7:00 pm and 8:30 pm as well as music from DJ Lydvicious.

This special exhibit takes place on weekends from January 24 – March 8. The event is 6:00 pm – 9:30 pm each night.
