Kick off your summer by experiencing the Saratoga Race Course’s world-class thoroughbred horse racing. People from all around the world travel to Saratoga to attend this summer racing meet. Experience the live music that plays throughout the grounds while attendees anticipate the first race. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the NYRA unfortunately stated that the season will open with no spectators in attendance. In despite of this, you can still enjoy seeing your favorite horses race from the comfort of your home on the event’s televised broadcast on Fox Sports 2. While attendance may be compromised, this event is still one you won’t want to miss!
Attending the Opening Day
If you plan on visiting the Saratoga Race Course in future years, tickets can be purchased online or at the entrance of the race course. Grandstand seats are $7 per person and children under the age of 12 are free with an adult. Additionally, Clubhouse tickets are $10 per person. Season tickets can also be purchased at $50/person for Grandstand seating or $75/person for Clubhouse seating. While food and drinks are available for purchase, coolers no larger than 12″x18″ are also permitted on the premises. In addition, please abide by the proper dress codes required for your seat section. For those in the Grandstands, casual wear is most often worn compared to the Clubhouse, which is generally more formal. The dress code, however, may vary depending on the event so be sure to check the dress policy before attending.
