New York Comic Con
New York Comic Con, arguably the biggest pop culture event in the country, is back at the Javits Center in New York City from October 12–15. More than 200,000 visitors are expected to show up for the popular four-day event. This year’s guests of honor are actors Chris Evans, Ewan McGregor, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, and Tom Hiddleston
Visit with the creatives behind your favorite comic books and graphic novel in the Artist Alley; shop on the main showroom floor for merchandise, toys and other collector’s items. This year’s show also includes a dedicated gaming hall— including Paint-and-Take Arena, Board Game Library, TCG and FGC tournaments—a variety of panels, as well as some extra nighttime events which will be held in the convention center’s new North Hall.
New this year is Writer’s Block. Found in the Artist Alley, there will be more than 60 acclaimed indie authors on hand to chat with you; some will also be leading special panels like Writing in Someone Else’s Universe and Rise of Romatasy. Some big name publishers will also have booths.
In addition to the guests of honor, there are more than a hundred other guests scheduled to appear at the show. See the full list here.
