New York Ballet
Distinct programs including Coppélia, an evening dedicated to Balanchine and Tschaikovsky and four SPAC premieres by 21st century choreographers.
The New York City Ballet, one of the world’s distinguished dance companies, returns to the Saratoga Performing Arts Center every summer. This year, the company will present four distinct programs including the story ballet Coppélia. The award-winning company starts off the performances with a tribute to legendary choreographer George Balanchine, featuring music from Russian composers like Tschaikovsky. Bring the whole family to experience Coppélia like never before, as the New York City Ballet dancers tell the story of an eccentric inventor and the lifelike doll he creates. Performances begin July 16 and run through the 20.
