Similar to Schenectady’s Harbor Jam Concert Series, the Mohawk Harbor Amphitheater will be hosting two fun concerts for free. Schenectady’s Rivers Casino & Resort is presenting these two great concerts on two separate Saturdays. On Sat. Aug. 21st you can experience the hits of the artist, Eric Clapton, and on Sat. Aug. 28th, you can enjoy the music of Billy Joel. Because Eric Clapton and Billy Joel will not be performing their greatest hits themselves, a tribute to Eric Clapton called Journeyman and a group titled The Lords of 52nd Street will take their place. Get ready to enjoy classics like “Only the Good Die Young” and “Tulsa Time.”

Attending the concerts

Both concerts are free and open to the public and begin at 5 p.m. on their respective nights. For your comfort, concertgoers are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets to relax on while enjoying the music. The concerts continue regardless of the weather forecast, and if you’re feeling hungry, food trucks will be on-site serving food and beverages.
