Lightscape at Brooklyn Botanic Garden
The Brooklyn Botanic Garden is once again hosting Lightscape, a dazzling, illuminated trail that takes visitors throughout the garden after dark. Perfect for the holiday season, visitors will encounter monumental lighted sculptures, colorful effects on trees, architecture and water features, and festive music. Seasonal treats are also available.
What is the Lightscape?
Lightscape is an after-dark walk through experience that comes to the Brooklyn Botanic Garden each winter to celebrate the holiday season.
What to Expect at Lightscape
Lightscape brings you through a trail featuring lighted landscapes and glowing installations unique to the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. Explore the Garden under the light of the moon. Glowing, colorful lights will guide you through a festive winter-time trail. Music fit for the season will be playing and seasonal treats will be available for purchase.
Additionally, you can reserve a table at the Lightscape Lodge at Yellow Magnolia Café. You can grab quick snacks like kettle corn or holiday cookies or stop and grab a meal with items like butternut squash tarts or white chicken and roasted poblano chili. Or head to The Lightscape Bar for holiday craft cocktails or specialty hot chocolate.
How to buy tickets for Lightscape at Brooklyn Botanic Garden
Tickets for Lightscape must be purchased online in advance of your visit. Ticket prices vary depending on the day of your visit. Prices are as follows:
Off-Peak
Adult: $36 non-member, $28 member
Child (3-12): $18 non-member, $14 member
Children 0-2 years can attend for free
Peak
Adult: $45 non-member, $32 member
Child (3-12): $23 non-member, $16 member
Special nights are Value Nights where tickets are $24 for adults and $12 for children (3-12).

Lightscape takes place on select evenings from 4:30 pm to 8:15 pm on November 22 to January 5.

The station is 9.7 miles away from Brooklyn Botanic Garden. It takes approximately 1 hour to get there by subway from the 34 Street – Penn Station/8 Avenue station. Take the A train 4 stops to Fulton/Broadway – Nassau Street and change to the 2 Train towards Flatbush Ave – Brooklyn Bridge for 8 stops to Eastern Parkway – Brooklyn Museum. Brooklyn Botanic Garden is an 11 minute walk from the subway.
