    What is the Lake George Winter Carnival?

    From the first carnival in 1961, the Lake George Winter Carnival has been providing fun wintertime festivities to people of all ages. Set through four weekends in February, there’s activities for everyone.

    At the Lake George Winter Carnival, a person carves a bear sculpture from wood amid a picturesque winter setting. Two partially completed bear carvings and tools are on display, while a snowman sign warmly welcomes visitors. Snow and trees complete this enchanting scene.

    What to Expect at the Lake George Winter Carnival

    Have fun with a winter wonderland worth of activities in the Village of Lake George. There’s crafts like tie-dye t-shirts, various children’s’ activities, dog talent shows, a hot chocolate bar with souvenir mugs, sundaes, fireworks, parades, and of course – the polar plunge!

    Additionally, enjoy special events like the Lake George Winter Carnival Gala. the Outhouse Race, Cook-Offs, the 2nd Annual Duck Hunt and the Glacier Golf Tournament.
