Headless Horseman Haunted Hayrides
America’s home for all things horror, let the screams out in this terror infested Halloween theme park.
Headless Horseman Haunted Hayrides
Labeled as America’s scariest haunted house and as the world’s best haunted hayride, the Headless Horseman Haunted Hayrides and Houses are America’s home for all things terror. Located in the historic haunted Hudson Valley, Headless Horseman Haunted Hayrides successfully frightens all those who dare to enter.
The Headless Horseman Haunted Attractions encompass multiple buildings, and fill an expansive space within Ulster Park. Each attraction adds to the story based in Crow Hollow. The Lunar Motel offers guests a trip back to the 60’s and 70’s as they try to determine which traveler to figurative Crow Hollow is a murderer. Another haunted house, Glutton’s Diner, entraps restaurant-goers in a spell, as the food is unusually familiar. Labeled as a slaughterhouse, a trip through this building surrounds guests in a gory evening. Horseman’s Tomb is the site of the Headless Horseman’s burial, taking visitors through a historic chapel and cemetery. Additional haunted houses include Nightshade Greenhouse, The Feeding, and Two Raven’s Manor.
Evil Reaping brings guests on a journey through a corn maze, following the path of several villagers who’ve disappeared from imaginary Crow Hollow. Dr. Dark’s Side Show includes some figurative villagers who have been modified into freaks. Enjoy the terror unleashed at this circus. Mama Rose’s Swamp Shack is a walk-through of a witch’s practicing grounds, where she now focuses on raising the dead.
While the evenings are not recommended for children, the park offers a Children’s Day: A Tiny Taste of Terror. Events will be adjusted for the younger audience, and feature a maze, friendly characters, Haunted Gardens, and Witch Hazel’s Halloween House. This family-friendly event will be held on October 8th and October 22nd.
For guests interested in getting their fright on, the Headless Horseman attractions open September 30th and are open until the last weekend of October. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday are the only days when the park is open, and tickets are sold here in advance. Gift shops and eateries can be found at the park, while guests who want to continue the experience can participate in Headless Horseman Escape Rooms.
