Greater Niagara Fishing Expo

The goal of the fishing expo is fishing education. There are several seminars to choose from covering a range of topics from basic 101 skills to tournament level skills. Over 250 seminars are taught by local and regional experts. Curriculums offered cover:

• Fishing for specific fish (Bass, Trout, Perch, etc.)
• Fly Fishing
• Kayak Fishing 
• Open Water Trolling
• Marine Electronics 

Beyond seminars, there are also 50 different speakers with a range of expertise who will share all they’ve learned in the fishing world thus far. This year’s headline speakers include Brad Brodnicki a bass tournament angler, Chuck Earls who’s become an expert in fishing in Ohio waters and is a cold water kayak safety expert, Mark Signorino a certified casting instructor for fly fishing, and many more. If you’re bringing the whole family (and please do!) check out the Kids Fishing Clinic on Sunday, February 16 from 11 am – 1 pm. This clinic is a hands-on interactive experience to inspire the love of fishing in kids 12 and under with an accompanying adult. Five different stations will be set up to teach five critical skills all anglers need to know: Knot Tying & Equipment, Casting, Lure Making, Where to Fish in Western New York and Fish ID, Fish Handling and Fishing Regulations.
