Explore the richness of New York State’s maple tradition during the highly anticipated Adirondack Maple Weekend! Running from March 9-10, 16-17, and 23-24, between 10 am and 4 pm, this event invited visitors to delve into the fascinating process of maple syrup production while indulging in delectable maple-infused treats. Participating farms and museums open their doors to offer firsthand demonstrations, allowing guests to witness the magic of maple syrup-making from tap to table!
With its inception dating back to 1995, the Adirondack Maple Weekend has evolved into a cherished annual tradition, now celebrating its 28th year. Sponsored by the NYS Maple Producers Association, this event showcases the collective efforts of over 100 farms and museums, that have solidified New York as the second-largest maple-producing state in the nation.
During Adirondack Maple Weekend, visitors are treated to immersive experiences that highlight the artistry and heritage behind maple sugar making. Guests will be invited to sample freshly harvested syrup and engage with local farmers and producers. Attendees are invited to celebrate this sweet tradition alongside friends and family!
A highlight of the weekend is the Maple Days Vendor Fair hosted at Thurman Town Hall, in which vendors will display and sell an array of maple-inspired treats and artisanal creations. This gathering serves as a hub of activity, bringing together a community of maple enthusiasts!
Participating Farms
Be sure to stop at one or all participating maple farms during the Maple Weekend. Dress in warm layers and expect muddy conditions. Most locations offer free tours and samples with maple syrup and other treats to bring home available for purchase.
