BENNINGTON

In the county of its same name, Bennington, Vermont holds a population of over 15,000 residents. Bennington is the third largest town in Vermont and the most populous town in Southern Vermont. This large town played a pivotal role in the Revolutionary War at the Battle of Bennington and houses the Bennington Monument, which is the tallest structure in the state.
